Growing guide

  1. LandPlough deeply and work in well-rotted manure: forage grasses respond strongly to fertile soil.
  2. SowingSow in rows into moist soil and cover the seed lightly.
  3. FertiliserTop-dress with nitrogen after each cut to drive fast regrowth.
  4. CuttingCut before the grass becomes stemmy and coarse, leaving a stubble of 10–15 cm so the plants regrow quickly.
