- Attracts bees and butterflies
Growing guide
- SowingSow shallowly, covering the seed with only a thin layer of soil, in trays or straight into beds; keep it moist until it germinates.
- SpacingSpace plants 25–30 cm apart and pinch out the tips once to make bushier plants with more flowers.
- CareWater regularly while plants are young; once established, cosmos tolerates dry spells. Go easy on nitrogen, which gives leaves at the expense of flowers.
- FloweringRemove faded flowers to keep new blooms coming for weeks.
